S0908.EARLYTALLSNUFF.M Superb early freeblown (probably dipmold but very crudely angled so potentially only marvered?) blackglass (dark olive green) very saggy based snuff utility c1790 or earlier, raised kickup with rough sand pontil, some rounded base edge, very whittled full gloss surface, straight sided arched panels into rounded offcentre wide based short  striated neck going through uptooled undulating stringrim below everted snapped off firepolished lip.  7”high, 3”x2”rect   1 tiny flake off underside of lip approx 1/8”diameter. Otherwise excellent crude and delightful. £sold
