Superb freeblown (dark olive green) early English transitional shaft and globe form c1675,  sealed with large seal to shoulder with intertwined, potential merchant's mark serif cap initials "GB" with good seal lip edge all around, medium kickup with sand pontil, lightly marvered rounded globular body with rounded sloped shoulders into medium length tapering neck through wide saturn ring string rim below everted snapped off refired lip. Overall surface matte and striatons, very light pitting and dug surface, total character aged bottle, rare and previously only recorded in different later form badly damaged. this example with good restored stringrim otherwise excellent. 8"high, 5 1/8"diameter.
