Thick base, straight undulating sides to flat shoulders, short neck and wide flaring and rolled back in and flattened lip. chip off edge of lip approx 1/4of circumference, otherwise excellent. Black drop was of course the name given to a popular mix of opium, vinegar and spices ofyen with sugar, in effect a form of Laudanum. Kendall, Lancaster, Armstrong's, Quaker's and Toustall's were all prefix's or title variations often named.
