S0410SW.DWIGHTBOTNZ.M    Superb early English saltglazed stoneware Dwight style London elongated baluster bottle with great colouring, dark speckled brown upper body above buff/grey lower body with darker drips mid body. Near flat base on lightly outward turned foot into dropped balster belly flowing into longish tapering neck topped withbold uptooled lip. Excellent early form, colour and condition, just a little wear inside lip,flakes/glaze loss and some very minor nibles around base edge. Some small touchmarks and kiln marks and good fingerprints. The epitome of an early English (or colonial) stoneware bottle for the early dwelling scenario.  8 1/4"high, 4 5/8"diameter    £ SOLD
