SO506SW.SQSHBUCKOINT.M Early 17thC seramic ointment in footed bucket form with grey/cream interior leadglaze, very crudely potted and slightly squashed in kiln on two sides. Slightly outward tapering body with fine flared lip. Glaze covers inside and coes outover lip and just below with large drip comng down one side, then running horizontally. Crazing to thicker pats of glaze, vertical firing split to inside lip approx 3/8" long. Naive and crudely appealing. 1 3/4"high, 2"diameter   £sold
