V0527.1650ENGFLLIPPHIAL.M  Delightful small (though actually a quite unusual larger version) of a freeblown English apothecary vial c1650, in dark forest green very squat squared off body form with stubby neck and very wide satirn ring flared and flattened lip. Flat base with prominent solid rod pontil, sagged and offcentre body and neck, overall light matte with attractive internal iridescence, nice and strong, with just two insignificant nibbles out of the edge of the very wide flat lip. Rare and increasingly desirable. 1 1/2"high, 1 1/4"square. £sold
