O0207.HANDLDMAGMALL.CW Extreme rare, almost unique, magnificent dark aqua freeblown handled mallet c1735, massiv strong andled with good imprinted tail and turnback on bottom of handled, deep kickup with very rough disedge pontil, rounded base edges marvered straight body sides rounded flattening shoulders into very wide based neck tapering towards applied uptooled lip below snapped off refired smooth lip. Old colour paint traces  of bachanalian figures and an owl all around body, but so far gone as would be much better simply to remove. superb condition, full surface gloss, excellent10 1/4"high, 7 1/4"diameter.   £6950
