Brown saltglazed stoneware puzzlejug c1840, on raised pedestalled base, flat routund body with applied smaller sprigs creating a complete run, consisting of seated on a barrel toper with drink on a table, a smoker mid blowing seated on a barrel, repeated first toper, with leafy tree as centre of series, a windmilland finally the seated toby toper with drink in hand, pipe on table and glass in hand. Overall very shiny glaze on light brown body. Smaller grooved handle spanning a cylinder neck pierced with ovals and heart be;ow the neck tibe with three spouts below a triangle pattern pierced upper neck.
