R0801SW.AMSTDAMBELL.M   Totally attractive early saltglazed brown stoneware bellarmine c1600 with benign well detailed facemask and three body cartouches showing vary large very well detailed coats of arms with supporters and crown above with banner named "AMSTERDAM" below. Together with initials "E.B" either side of crown. Not also incorrect use of 3 1/2 crosses on CofA, and reversed S in Amsterdam. All original though broken and reglued with some restored sections, well done and displaying excellently. Lovely form and greatcolour with drips of glazing and speckled full tigerglaze. 7 1/4"high, 6"diameter. £sold
