U2008.DIVEDMALLET.M  Attractive English freeblown mallet with silk matte patina and  subtle internal iridescent colouring, blackglass (dark olive green) c1735/40 with deep kickup with sand pontil, rounded base edges, tapering straight sides to rounded sloping shoulders into long tapering slim neck through wide v-section stringrim just below snapped off unsmoothed lip. Overal waterwashed and some very light occasional pits but essentially excellent condition. Some internal detritus. 7 1/2"high, 5 1/4"diameter great form £sold
