T0909S.SQUATDOIDGE1783.M    Classic English (probably Cornish) freeblown (dipmold) blackglass (dark olive green) squat wine bottle sealed to mid body, good seal lip edge "R./Doidge/1783" in nice serif u/lcase. Full original surface gloss, nicely whittled throughout. Medium kickup with sand pontil, sagged base straight sides, prominent dipmold shoulder line, rounded shoulders into long tapering striated neck through crudely applied collar stringrim below overturned and flattened lip. Excellent restoration to approx 1/2  lip slice. Displays and handles excellently. 10"high, 7"diameter max     £sold
