X0802S.GROSVENORCRESTSEALON.N   Attractive rainbow iridescent pancake onion sealed with crest of horse. Crest of Grosvenor family of Eaton Hall Cheshire. Recovered from River Dee. Ex  DWB collection. Medium kickup with sand pontil, rounded sides to sloped shoulders swooping into widebased conical neck curving through saturn disk stringrim below snapped off firesmoothed lip. Reglued knocked out section to rear with impact mark and small radiations below. Great iridescence, pitted and iridescent on base, some layer loss to body but iridesced over, Some small patches of iridescence lost showing dark glass below.
