U0925C.GRMUSTARD.M   Rare Staffordshire ceramic tall handled widemouth jug with applied oval medallion molded with profile portrait of George II wearing crown with "GR" either side and foliate decoration above and below. Crude inscribed florate pattern around medallion and further vague flowing foliate forms each body side, all these picked out in cobalt blue infill glaze. Flat base with several crude foreign bodies, stepped foot into elongated baluster form body into  short wide cylindrical reeded neck. blue reeded neck. Scrolled handle and trimmed handle tail. three small chip/flakes to inside of lip, one larger chip to base edge and one flake to base. 6 1/4"high, 3 1/4"diameter. £sold
