Q0428SW.FOLIATE2PMFLASK.M   Pleasing small brown saltglazed stoneware pocket flask ofinverted flattened ovate baluster form with narrow foot and small turned neck/lip. Interesting two piece mold design presumably with included "sprigging" relief molded also. Showing borders on shoulders and down sides grapes and vine leaves. At bottom both sides two folded over leaf florate elements, and centre one panel a good detailed two uniformed drinkers toasting each other, a sailor and a tricorn hatted soldier at a table and two chairs.  Excellent and attractively coloured, dark brown lip and shoulders, light brown speckled body.  Some collectors have suggested this is a recent copy but others who have handled have disagreed. I also disagree but have priced accordingly. 5 1/2"high, 3 3/8" x1 3/4"diameter    £sold
