U0404SW.HUNTINGMUG.M   Two tone brown saltglaze stoneware handled sprigged hunting mug c1850 probably Chesterfield, greyhound handle, plinth moulded base, 4 large well detailed sprigs depicting hunter climbing over fence following hound underneath tree, then twohunting horses with saddles standing, then another huntsman letting a pair of hounds through a broken fence, and finally a pack of 4 hounds in at thekill of a fox. Mid brown top and buff/cream lower 3/4. Flat base, straight sides classic item. just one sprig has lifted slightly and the corner 1/4" has broken off in manufacture, and break glazed over. otherwise excellent. 4 3/4"high, 5 1/8"diameter £sold
