V0515S.CHINGSONTAVISTOCKSEAL.M  'P & R, B' on base (Powell & Ricketts, Bristol). An appealing large (9") aqua spirit flask from this ancient market town in Devon close to Dartmoor. 2-piece mould. Clearly struck large seal to upper-body (as above in clear sans serif caps). Crudely applied double-collar lip. Full original sheen. Rare. c1860-70's. Very good/Excellent   Great condition with just a hard to spot pretty insignificant very small (2-3mm) fleabite flake/nick on the edge of the lower collar (which tends to blend in so very easily missed), some patchy subtle internal cloudiness/contents residue (mostly at the back) and the odd surface scrtach/rub etc (also mostly on the back) and is otherwise excellent 9"high, 3 5/8"x 2 1/4"diameter £sold
