V1117.TRANSHAFTANDGLOBEREST.M    Freeblown blackglass (dark olive green) English transitional shaft and globe c1680-85. Attractive bucket form with rolled, marvered sides rounded sloped shoulders into medium tapering neck through very pronounced and attractive saturn disk stringrim well below snapped off firesmoothed lip forming shallow "top hat" image. Overall full original surface gloss, shallow kickup with sand pontil. Unfortunately hole in body side well restored and displays excellently.
