T0821.HEXMEDIUTILITY.M   Extreme rare late 16thC hexagonal utility. Shallow kickup with blowpipe pontil, sagged base, straight sides, rounding flat shoulders into short squat neck flaring outwards to plain lip. Overal covered in vitrified multicoloured surface showing grey effect underbody silicate surface. Excellent condition , just a veyr small chip to the underside of lip. Recovered from a Groningen cesspit near Zuiderdiep.  3"high, 1 7/8"max diameter.  £760
