M0707.STIPPLEGOBLET.X  Unique historical freeblown blackglass goblet c1800, deep wide footed base with blown bulb stem attached to goblet bowl. Stippled with naive representation of the first iron Sunderland bridge, underneath a paddlesteamer named underneath "STAR". To the left a masonic emblem within a a banner, further left a fouled anchhor, reverse side a large frigate or Merchantman underneath named "ANN", and to it's left the name "Mrs/Bordon". Sunderland bridge was built in1796. Mrs Bordon was a famous actress who becam the infamous mistress of William IVth with 10 children. 5 3/4"high, 4" diameter   £2300
