S0923M.FAIR3 PRETTIEST.M Late 19thC ceramic "Fairing" showing three figures two little girls and a little boy walking in line on a plinth bearing the title "Which is the prettiest". All typical 19thC multicoloured and gold painting styles and detailed painted faces. Interesing that the costumes show the girls in blue dresses and the boy in a pink trouser suit. (Before 1900 pink and blue for the sexes was reversed!!). No damage, recessed plinth base stamped with sheild and mailed arm with "3366" underneath. An illustrators identification "113" also painted in black. 3 3/4"high, 2" x 3 1/2"  £26
